What is a Gas Hob Valve?

A gas hob valve is a mechanical device used in gas stoves (also known as gas hobs) or freestanding ovens to control the flow of gas to the burners. It allows users to regulate the intensity of the flame by adjusting the amount of gas that reaches the burner.

Do You use Forging or Die Casting?

The valve body is often made by hot forging (for brass) or die casting (for aluminum).

Are there many steps in making valves?

Yes, a valve is made up of many small parts, each of which needs to be processed using different professional machine tools.

1.Precision Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines are used to mill, drill, and finish the valve parts. Threads, grooves, and internal chambers are shaped to exact specifications for leak-free performance. Our factory is equipped with more than 20 robots that can complete these operations fully automatically.

2.Then internal components will be assembled together, and every valve will perform quality testing (smooth operation, proper sealing, life-time test, and safety shutoff response).

3.Finally is surface finishing & packaging. In this step we can screen print date and customized information to each valve to make sure they are traceable.

Do I must Offer a Technical Drawing?

Although our technical staff have more than ten years of experience, we prefer a technical drawing from you because it demonstrates clearly the valve central height, thread spec, milling edge length, etc. Or you may initially select the shape of the valve in our catalog, tell us the installation size of the valve in your machine and the flow data you need. We have more than 100+ types of gas valve molds. Our professional technical department will give you the corresponding drawings.

Can I set the flow rate by myself?

Before shipment, we will adjust the bypass flow rate according to your requirements. Most valves have an adjustment screw, the locking state of which will make the valve suitable for LPG. Dear customer, you can let the workers lock the adjustment pin of an NG valve to make it suitable for LPG stove.
